Roadmap out of Covid Restrictions

As the Government gradually lifts the Covid restrictions, we hope to be able to slowly return to something more like our normal way of welcoming the public to the Guildford Ski Slope.

In line with the proposed stages on the Government’s Roadmap to re-opening, the following is what we hope our corresponding Roadmap will look like.

The Government’s Roadmap

March 29th – 6 people/2 families can meet outside, maintaining social distance; outdoor leisure facilities can re-open; the requirement to stay at home is lifted.

April 12th – Indoor sports facilities can re-open for family bubbles, but no change to social distancing rules.

May 17th – Rule of 6/2 families no longer applies, up to 30 people can now meet socially outdoors; the requirement to socially distance from people outside your bubble MAY be lifted.

June 21st – All legal limits on social contact to be lifted.

Guildford Ski Slope Roadmap

March 29th – We will be re-opening for skiing, boarding and donutting for groups of 6, 2 families, and supervised groups of children up to a maximum of 12, ie birthday parties. All our pre-lockdown social distancing measures will still be in place, details can be found here.

April 12th – No changes.

May 17th – Maximum numbers allowed for donutting will increase to 15, and adults can now be part of that 15. The half hour picnicking slot will be re-instated. The ‘Rule of 6’ compliant small party is no longer required, so won’t be available any more. We will still have 90 minutes between booking slots to minimise the time that 2 party groups are onsite at the same time, and the 2 groups will be kept separated.

June 21st – We will hopefully be able to make a complete return to pre-Covid operating practices.

All changes will obviously be dependent on the Government roadmap going according to plan.

We hope to see you soon!
