FAQs

Here are some FAQs. However, if you have any specific questions that are not answered here, then please get in touch:

No. To attend our Open Practice sessions you have to have had at least one lesson with us, and be able to turn in control from the top of the hill.
The only group sessions we do are for complete beginners, but if you are a beginner, have a look at our Beginners Courses. If you have skied before, even a little bit, you are not a beginner, and would need private lessons.
We carry on in all weathers, the only things that have been known to stop us are very high winds with small children, and ironically, too much snow. The slope runs more smoothly for skiing if it’s wet, and if you are donutting they go faster so you have more fun!
Only to watch. Our minimum age for skiing is 5, for snowboarding it’s height 135cm, and for donutting it’s 6 in a Public Session, or 5 in a Private Booking. It’s mostly down to safety and insurance, but with skiing and boarding it’s also due to the size of equipment that we have.

We are available 7 days a week , all year round. Between September 1st and Easter we are here most of the time, and from Easter to July 31st we are here weekday mornings, and at other times if we have bookings. We are closed for all Bank Holidays, and the month of August. All our activities must be prebooked to ensure availability, with the exception of Winter Open Practice sessions.

If we are not in the office, leave us an answer phone message or send us an email, so we can get back to you.
